Savory Insights is an independently-operated consultative service offered by Dorene Olsen and is based in the USA. This website provides content about brand building, marketing, and fundraising ideas to help organizations grow their impact and brand awareness.

I love it when you share my content. I require that you only share one image and please do not repost articles in their entirety. Instead, link all images and article summaries back to my original content.

Email Sign-up / Newsletter / RSS Feed
If you sign up to receive emails from Savory Insights through any of the many sign-up forms or by when you make a purchase through our product pages, then your first name and email address are required. We require your email address in order to send you the emails and we ask your first name so that my emails to you will include a friendly personalized note.

At the bottom of every email I send, you will find a link to unsubscribe. You may unsubscribe from our email list at any time. If you are having trouble unsubscribing or would like to be removed from the email list, then simply send me an email through our Contact Form on the www SavoryInsights.com website and ask to be removed. 

We currently use ConvertKit as an email service provider (read their privacy policy here  ). Your data is collected and then passed to them electronically and automated.

Currently, I send an average of 1-2 emails per month. However, I will occasionally email you about products and other promotions that may be relevant to your interests.

Your email and name are never sold or given away to a third party.

All emails you receive are CAN-SPAM compliant. At the bottom of every email, you will find information on how to contact the sender, as well as information on how to unsubscribe.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

It is highly recommended that you avoid leaving detailed personal information in your comments.  Your email address is never shared or disclosed, but your name and comment will be visible to others.

I reserve the right to remove comments deemed as inappropriate, threatening, profane, salesy or spam-like without notice.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Images should be owned by you personally or by your organization.
